I-9 Employment Verifications

I-9 Verification Agent

  • Employers seeking employment verification services can request one of our notaries to be an independent authorized employer representative.  The I-9 form is issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and it verifies the identity and employment eligibility for persons hired in the U.S. (See links below for instructions and forms if needed.)

  • I-9 Verification is a NON-Notarial contracted service, and is not subject to state/statutory fees.

  • The agent (notary) will meet the employee at a location of the employee’s choosing.

  • Section One will be filled out by the employee, or employer, prior to the appointment. It will be reviewed by the Agent for completeness.

  • The agent will examine the provided physical identification documents.

  • Section Two will be filled out and completed by the agent.

  • If the employee needed assistance (or a translator) in order to fill out Section One, Supplement A must be filled out by the individual who assisted. It may otherwise remain blank.

  • Supplement B may also remain blank, unless the employee is a rehire and requires reverification.

  • The completed document will be returned to the employee for processing, unless the agent is instructed otherwise. (Additional charges may occur for additional instructions, or for the requirement of Online Technology.)
